Toyota Crown yako ni mwaka gani na ina gearbox ya aina gani, lakini kwa Crown nyingi za kisasa: Automatic Transmission (AT): Hutumia Toyota ATF WS (World Standard). CVT Transmission: Hutumia Toyota CVT Fluid FE au aina iliyoainishwa na mtengenezaji (si ATF WS isipokuwa imeelekezwa hivyo). Kupunguza joto la engine. Kusafisha uchafu na chembe za chuma. Kuzuia kutu na kutu ndani ya engine. FB20 ENGINE  Engine za Subaru FB20 zina sifa ya kuwa nzuri kwenye matumizi ya mafuta na ulaini wa uendeshaji, lakini baadhi ya matoleo—hasa ya miaka ya mwanzo (takriban 2012–2015)—yalikuwa na matatizo yaliyowafanya watu wengi waone "zinasumbua".  Sababu kuu ni hizi: Kula mafuta ya engine (oil consumption) kutokana na matatizo ya piston rings kwenye baadhi ya injini za mwanzo.
